God asked Nehemiah to take on the monumental task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem…in just 52 days. Nehemiah knew that the only way he would be able to accomplish this task was with humble leadership, prayer and by enlisting the help of the people. Nehemiah led people of every skill set and ability. The work of building the wall was important but Nehemiah knew that although the work was important, the relationships being forged to accomplish that goal together were of even greater importance.

The vision behind our Nehemiah Serve Teams are teams of volunteers with varying skills and abilities working shoulder to shoulder…literally “building the walls” of Wellspring Church. While doing so, we are investing in relationships by praying and caring for one another. We may not be hoisting actual stones (well, maybe sometimes) but we will be maintaining, caring for and repairing the building and grounds of Wellspring. Many of these teams are a great opportunity to work alongside a spouse, together as a family, or even with some of your Life Group. Please take time to a look at the current areas of need. The time commitment and frequency vary by need but most require an hour or two a week, bi-weekly or some may be “on call”.

If you have any questions, please email our Director of Facilities, Kevin Troupe.
